Meet Our Staff


Steve Musgrove—General Manager

Steve grew up in Iron Mountain, Michigan.  He won Michigan State Championships in singles all four years in high school and played division 2 tennis at Michigan Technological University.  Through high school and college, he worked for community tennis programs as an instructor before becoming a USPTA Professional in 2009.  Steve has worked at L&T since 2010 and is also the Tennis Instructor for the town of Pinehurst and Southern Pines Recreation tennis programs.


Dana Parziale—Director of Tennis

Dana grew up in Pinehurst and is a Pinecrest High School alumni class of 2010. With a big passion for tennis, he pursued it competitively into college playing at division 1 Bryant University. His tennis teaching career started in college at locations such as the International Tennis Hall of Fame, Windridge Tennis and Sports Camp, and The Dunes Club of Narragansett RI. Then, began teaching full time in 2014, first working for USTA New England’s development program, then moving on to the head professional at the Ritz Carlton in Grand Cayman.   Before moving back to Pinehurst, Dana was in Portland Maine as Director of Adult Tennis, and Assistant Director of Junior Tennis.


Chris Espinoza—Assistant Director

Chris is originally from Swansboro, NC. He’s a recent Graduate of Greensboro College where he studied Mathematics.  He played varsity tennis for The Pride for four years.  Before moving to Pinehurst, Chris worked with a  clay court specialist and was a junior program instructor at GTP in Greensboro.


Eric Parziale—Assistant Professional

Eric is back from Burlington Vermont and joins Dana as the second Pinecrest Alumni to teach at Lawn & Tennis. He graduated Pinecrest in 2009 as a multi-sport athlete where he went on to play division 2 soccer and tennis at Saint Michael`s college. There he was a 4 year letter winner playing 1 singles and doubles as well as a starting right back for the soccer team. After college he reached as high as number 2 mens open singles player in New England and teamed with his brother Dana to be ranked number one in mens open doubles in New England for 3 years from 2015-2017. Eric has taught from 2013-2015 at the Vanderbilt Tennis in Manhattan NY, before teaching from 2015-2018 at the Edge Racquet and Fitness Club in Essex Vermont. Eric is a passionate instructor and loves teaching all ages and abilities. He is also an avid soccer player and golfer, and is very excited to be returning to Pinehurst to continue building the tennis community in the area.
